Modern History Adventures Join our ongoing class based on the Story of the World Volume 4: The Modern Age! Students will explore key historical events, including Queen Victoria’s England, the construction of the Suez Canal, the American Civil War, American westward expansion, and the events leading up to the Russian Revolution and World War I. ***As this is an ongoing series, please consider signing up for a block of classes ahead of time. Classes without enrollment 24 hours in advance will be cancelled. This ongoing series offers a broad overview of 19th and early 20th century world history for upper elementary and junior high students. Each class period your student will be introduced to the topic of the week and have a handout provided to assist them with note-taking and mapwork. I teach through lecture and discussion and activities.
