If your child loves animals then join me for an exciting science unit focusing on Mammals. In this course we will learn about animal classification and how mammals differ from other vertebrates. We will then focus on types of mammals, such as herbivore, carnivore and omnivores. We will then deep dive into mammal classes and species such as ungulates, elephants, primates, felines, canines, monotremes, marsupials, bats, rats, bears and learn how these species differ from each other. This course will meet twice a week for 7 weeks and the lessons are geared towards kids in grades 3-6.
